Peartown Farm

We are a small-scale perennial plant nursery and homestead with a focus on food and ecology.

We grow trees, shrubs, and herbaceous perennials with the goal of helping to create a better world. Our inspiration is our love of planet Earth, and all of its inhabitants. We are located at the foot of South Mountain in northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Abel and Lana met at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA and have been gardening together ever since. In August of 2023 they bought their 1750’s log cabin in Pennsylvania, where Abel grew up. Over the past couple of years, they have been working to restore their cabin and develop their gardens, as well as grow their family.
